KidKonekt Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the KidKonekt platform, website, and mobile application (“Service”) operated by KidKonekt (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
By accessing or using KidKonekt, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Overview of Service
KidKonekt is a digital platform designed to facilitate communication, attendance tracking, and operational management between daycare providers and parents.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By using KidKonekt, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
3. User Accounts

Users must provide accurate and complete information.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

You are responsible for all activities under your account.
4. Use of the Service
You agree not to:

Use the platform for unlawful purposes

Upload false, misleading, or harmful content

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the system

Interfere with the platform’s operation
5. Child Safety and Responsibility
KidKonekt provides tools to enhance communication and safety, including check-in and pickup features. However:

Daycare centers remain fully responsible for child supervision and safety

KidKonekt is not liable for incidents occurring at daycare facilities
6. Payments and Pricing

Pricing is based on the number of enrolled children:

0–50 children: R20 per child/month

50+ children: R15 per child/month

All features are included in all pricing tiers

Payments must be made as agreed between the daycare and KidKonekt

Failure to pay may result in suspension of service
7. White Labelling
KidKonekt offers white labelling services upon request.

8. Data and Privacy

We collect and process data in accordance with applicable laws, including POPIA (South Africa)

9. Availability of Service
We strive to maintain uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance or technical issues may occur.
10. Limitation of Liability
KidKonekt shall not be liable for:

Indirect or consequential damages

Loss of data, revenue, or business

Any incidents occurring at daycare facilities
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Users may discontinue use at any time.
12. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, and software related to KidKonekt remain the property of KidKonekt.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
